Lattice Technology Launches Manufacturing Productivity Webinar Series
Free webinars allow engineers and designers to understand how Lattice Technology Solutions deliver productivity, efficiency and profitability for manufacturing
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Oct 29, 2009 -- Lattice Technology, Inc., developer of digital manufacturing applications using the XVL® format, today announced its Manufacturing Productivity webinar series.
These free webinars enable engineers and designers to quickly understand how they can address critical weaknesses in their design and engineering processes to build productivity and efficiency gains in manufacturing. The webinars tackle subjects such as how to easily perform highly accurate design review in large 3D CAD assemblies, and how technical documentation for both print and online uses can be rapidly and accurately created using your 3D data.
“Many manufacturers think that simply adopting 3D CAD delivers the productivity boost they need,” stated Bill Barnes, GM, Lattice Technology. “Often, it is not until they review their overall processes that they realize there are even greater benefits to be gained from using 3D data in other tasks: For example, detailed design review without tying up the designer and CAD station, or using 3D data to drive creation of documentation for manufacturing and service processes. That is where they can see true productivity gains and the Lattice Technology Solutions deliver the results they are looking for.”
The webinar series begins on November 5, 2009, and will deliver weekly introductions to Lattice Technology Solutions as well as bi-weekly webinars focused on specific needs such as Digital Mock Up (DMU) and Technical Documentation direct from 3D CAD data.
