Lockheed Martin has recently adopted Lattice Technology XVL for its new Visual Product Model (Vis/PM) initiative.

Lockheed Martin says it sought out Lattice Technology's XVL solutions in order to provide a lightweight, robust 3D platform for integration with Vis/PM.

"As part of our efforts in this initiative, we had a mission to locate technology that will enable the seamless sharing of 3D data in an easily viewable format," said Marc O'Brien, Lockheed Martin. "With a growing portfolio of 3D data, accessibility to that data has become a priority. Lattice’s lightweight solutions make these valuable assets available throughout the entire organization."

The company is customizing Lattice Technology's Studio Pro software and making use of the Free XVL Viewer across the operation.
