XVL Plug-in for Adobe® Acrobat®
The Power of XVL in a 3D PDF workflow.
The XVL Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat delivers the power to quickly author and edit 3D data in Adobe® PDF. It achieves this by integrating Lattice Technology’s XVL Studio and Lattice3D Reporter applications into a 3D PDF workflow. A simple click of the button and you can launch your 3D PDF data into XVL Studio, edit it, animate it, edit assembly structures and properties, and then return to Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended with updated data and information.
Edit and Author 3D data into PDF
XVL Studio with the XVL Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat allows you to edit existing 3D CAD data and save to PDF, as well as edit assembly structures, part positions and part colors for data from PDF. XVL Studio builds on your existing tools in PDF, leveraging your ability to adjust the data without losing accuracy.
The Power to Animate your 3D PDF
Leveraging your 3D PDF data to include self-running animations, disassembly and assembly animations, and simulations of moving parts is simple with Lattice Technology’s XVL Studio and the XVL Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat, alongside Adobe
Acrobat 3D and Acrobat Pro Extended (by Adobe). Using the seamless integration provided by the XVL Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat, simply import the 3D data from PDF into XVL Studio, quickly animate the assembly or sub-assembly data to meet your needs, and save the data back into PDF.
Export 3D Spreadsheets to 3D PDF
Lattice3D Reporter allows easy creation and editing of 3D documents and data in Microsoft Excel, including 3D parts list and process documentation. The XVL Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat lets you quickly and easily publish these documents into 3D PDF.
If you are using Adobe Acrobat 3D or Acrobat Acrobat Pro Extended to author documentation, the XVL Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat lets you include existing XVL files in any 3D PDF document.
