Lattice3D Reporter Brings 3D into Microsoft Excel

Lattice3D Reporter brings the intuitive power of 3D visualization to any report or part list. With Lattice3D Reporter, you can easily and quickly embed ultra-lightweight XVL versions of your 3D CAD models into any Microsoft Excel file, which is linked to interactive parts lists and BOMs. Lattice3D Reporter immediately and easily improves accuracy, communication and speeds product time-to-market.

Spreadsheets created using Lattice3D Reporter are easily shared throughout an organization and all you need to use, view and benefit from 3D Spreadsheets is the Lattice3D Reporter Viewer - provided free-of-charge by Lattice Technology.

Lattice3D Reporter works directly inside Microsoft Excel applications, allowing engineers, procurement specialists, production engineers and assembly supervisors to quickly create spreadsheets with parts lists and BOMs linked directly to 3D data.

Lattice3D Reporter enhances PLM and digital prototyping processes already in place by enabling the wider use of 3D data, interactively linked to Bills of Materials and other lists, inside an Excel spreadsheet.

Lattice3D Reporter delivers improvements in cost, time and effort for design-to-manufacture processes by enabling everybody involved to quickly see, review and check parts lists that are interactively linked to the 3d data, using the world's number one communication tool - Microsoft Excel.

Benefits

Managers: rapidly communicate a product design using the ubiquitous Excel spreadsheet, and allow other to easily understand the design through the interactive 3D data linked to Bills of Materials.

Procurement Manager: be able to quickly understand a product design with the interactive links between the 3d data and the technical lists of parts, materials and assemblies.

Supply Chain Managers: be able to quickly view and reference parts required within a product in order to prepare the supply chain.

Features
  • Supports all Major CAD systems - Lattice3D Reporter allows complete 3D assemblies from any major 3D CAD system to be imported into Excel and linked to a parts list. Engineers can then check each part by clicking on part numbers in the list and being able to review the 3D part immediately.
  • Expands the Microsoft Excel toolset for 3D - Lattice3D Reporter works inside and saves your reports in the ubiquitous spreadsheet format of Excel with the standard “.xls” extension. The document includes all the XVL data and works on any Excel application.
  • Increases Understanding throughout the supply chain - Raise the level of communication throughout your organization and capitalize on the intuitive power of visualization for faster, more accurate understanding, by being able to visually see each part, cross-check it between the parts list and the model, and develop a much faster understanding of the project at hand.
  • Lightweight Format - All 3D graphics load quickly from the lightweight XVL format, allowing you to locate a part on a list visually, rather than trying to remember long numeric IDs. The embedded viewer also includes smaller thumbnail options, or “snapshots” with each part entry, allowing you to include alternate perspectives, assembly relationships, or animated instructions.
System Requirements: Windows 2000 SP2 or higher, Windows XP, Windows Vista. Recommended: Pentium II 300MHz or higher, 256MB or more, 150MB hard disk space.
