iXVL Products

1. I cannot view the assembly tree in iXVL View.
   The assembly tree is not available in iXVL View, but is available in iXVL Player. There are other features that are only available in iXVL Player. For more information, please see http://www.lattice3d.com/our-products/ixvl-technology/ixvl-player/.
   
2. I cannot open XVL files in iXVL Player.
   iXVL Player can only open XVL files that have been published by iXVL Publisher. For more information, please see http://www.lattice3d.com/our-products/ixvl-technology/ixvl-publisher/
   
3. What size XVL file can be read in iXVL View/iXVL Player?
   iXVL View/iXVL Player can open XVL files that are up to about 15MB in size. Actual performance may vary depending on the features of the model. Typically, 15MB XVL files can represent 1GB or more of CAD data.
   
4. Although the XVL file was copied by iTunes, it is not displayed on the iXVL View/iXVL Player file list.
   XVL files can have several extensions: .xv3, .xv2 and .xv0. iXVL View/iXVL Player can only display .xv2 files. Other XVL files must be converted to .xv2 to be viewable in iXVL View/iXVL Player.
5. iXVL View/iXVL Player fails to open an XVL file.
   This may occur when the XVL file is too large to process. If you encounter this, we recommend using XVL Studio to create smaller files (e.g. sub-assemblies) from the larger file.
6. Can I view interactive 3D work instructions on iPad?
   Yes. iXVL Publisher can publish interactive 3D work instructions that you can view on iPad. The instructions include process lists, task lists, parts lists and animated 3D models. 7. Can I view interactive 3D parts lists on iPad?
   Yes. iXVL Publisher can publish interactive 3D parts lists that you can view on iPad. The parts lists include 3D models and vector illustrations. 8. Is technical support available?
   Telephone support is not available for the free iXVL products. You can submit support requests via email and tell us your opinion via the Lattice Technology website. http://www.lattice3d.com/support/request/
