iXVL Mobile Viewing Solutions Comparison

All Lattice Technology viewers are FREE. Manufacturing companies benefit by sharing their data within their own company, externally with stakeholders (like suppliers and tooling vendors) and with customers. That is why we provide all Lattice Technology viewers free of charge--from the desktop application to Microsoft Excel plug-ins to mobile Apple iOS devices

For mobile viewing, two options from Lattice Technology are available. Both support Apple iOS. The one your company should use depends on whether your company has purchased iXVL Publisher.

iXVL Player

The iXVL Player is the recommended mobile viewing solution for iOS devices (iXVL – Supported Mobile Devices), because it features the most capabilities (for example, Work Instructions). iXVL Player does require that your models be published with iXVL Publisher.

iXVL View

If your company has not upgraded to iXVL Publisher, select iXVL View. With iXVL View, your fully interactive models can be viewed on iOS devices, including their assembly tree - however their associated Work Instructions Work Instructions (and other product information) will not be available on the mobile devices using iXVL View.
